My Totally Whack Menu Plan

Here is my menu plan for this week. I'm just making it up as I type this out. lol  Oh yeah, I have really got my stuff together today, right? hehe.

Monday: Baked Chicken & Cauliflower  (was yummy!)
Tuesday: Homemade Sloppy Joe & Pasta Salad
Wednesday: Baked Mac & Cheese & Mystery Vegetables (whatever I can find in the pantry that needs to be used up)
Thursday: Bean Soup & Cornbread (I'm going to try adding a little ground beef, since we have stopped eating pork. Hopefully, a wee touch of beef fat will help round out the flavor of the beans.)
Erev Shabbat Meal: General Tso's stir fried chicken, green beans, corn, and carrots, served over rice.

We are spending much of the Shabbat with family, having an "early" Thanksgiving meal together. Some of our lovies are going out of town, so this will give us a chance to spend time with them. Since there is only so much feasting that this gal can do, I'm not going to cook a big dinner on the official day for Thanksgiving. We'll just invite some company over to share our meal on Friday evening.

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Messiah, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
