Oct. 3 Menu Plan

Being poor didn't matter so much,
when there was enough love to
fill ya up.
Monday: Bean Soup and cornbread

Tuesday: Broccoli Cheese soup and homemade rolls

Wednesday: Tuna Helper, green beans, mashed potatoes, and rolls

Thursday: The experimental Spam sandwich and soup
(Sissy is so funny. She said that she wanted to know what Spam was, and what it tasted like. I grew up eating Spam every so often, back in the days when we got gov't food with pictures of pigs or peaches on the labels. lol I'll fry a little up for her, and she can have a Spam sandwich, like I used to have when I was younger.)

Friday: Blueberry pancakes and eggs

As you may be noticing, it's a rather lean menu this week. I don't know that it will look much better for next week either. It's the price we pay for splurging on a bed, so I'll just smile and eat my beans while knowing that I have a nice bed ... and I won't feel like I'm sagging through to the floor. lol  It is what it is though, and everyone is getting fed. We will also be snacking on some fruit, and the last of the cherry tomatoes from the garden. I'm thinking that making a pumpkin pie might lift everyone's spirits a bit, especially since I have everything I need in the pantry already.  :)

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Messiah, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
